At a recent Dynamic Growth Experience in Adelaide, South Australia, Dr Brett Hill discussed the challenges Chiropractors face when looking back over a year that did not provide as much practice growth as they were used to seeing.
Brett explained that it is easy to provide excuses for these results but ultimately, they are just that – excuses. He suggested that the way to get back on track was to be proactive with intention and to do the following:
Acknowledge – accept where you and your practice are currently and why it has occurred.
Take Action – pick up your game in both personal and professional activities that are important to do consistently, but you have let slide over time.
With Intent – you can proactively ride a bike but be heading in the wrong direction! Be very clear on what needs to be done and remain focused on moving along that course.
Accountability – ensure that you have someone that you report regularly to, or that checks in with you from time to time to keep you on track.
Take some time this week to look over your results from this past year and acknowledge the areas that you could be doing even better in. Set some new intentional goals for the upcoming year that will create the results you choose, tell someone about them and then take massive action!
